Every year my favorite second hand clothing store, Plato’s Closet, puts on a bag sale. Anything that’s in the sale bins are up for grabs. Stuff as much as you can in that plastic bag and everything that fits is a total of $20. Last year was a big success for me so this year I thought I would try to get there when they opened to try and snag the best items but of course there was a line! Luckily I am a seasoned vet and know the drill during one of these big sales. Here are my tips:
1) Keep your purse in the car and only bring your money and ID so you can keep those hands and arms free.
2) Pull your hair back in a ponytail. You will be standing up , then crouching down, and looking all around spots best to keep that hair out of your face.
3) If there are multiple bins start on one side and work your way around. People are usually nice here and know when’s the best time to switch places.
4) Don’t be afraid of being super close to someone. These things get cramped at times so be aware you may be crouching next to a couple of stranger butts.
